Tapas - wonderfully tasty Spanish bar snacks - are a very social way of eating and drinking - making for a delicious, fun and leisurely team-building event.

Where?

This activity takes place in Malaga Old Town, but please talk to us should you would like us to organise a tapas tour in other locations.

What Can We Expect?

A good way (and possibly the best way) to eat tapas is to wander from one bar to another to sample a particular speciality. Many bars in Malaga tend to be known for just one or two (incredible) dishes, so - as the locals do - you may pop into one for almejas (juicy clams) or grilled chorizo with sweet paprika and garlic, another place for jamón serrano (cured ham), another for pulpo gallego (pot-cooked octopus), a fourth for pimientos de Padrón (small green peppers) and grilled white asparagus, and yet another for a glass of sherry or wine accompanied by patatas bravas (wonderful potatoes).

Our multilingual group organisers will greet you at your chosen location and brief the group on the activity details. The group will be supplied with a list of bars in Malaga, a list of available tapas at each bar, bar capacities, route ideas and a map of the town with bar locations noted.
Each participant will also be given personalised vouchers (the number of vouchers is agreed prior to meeting), enabling them to purchase tapas and drinks in each bar they choose. We can also supply a professional photographer or videographer to capture the day.

Once the group are ready, they're off to discover food - which both looks and tastes incredible.

More additional extras. We can supply: iPads which store the bar ideas, maps and information; a personalised app with activity details; personalisation of bars (with company logos/design etc); street entertainment; designated actors to interact with the group during the activity; the combination of this activity with our iPad Treasure Hunt and more.

Can You Supply Food (And Drink) Options?

Nibbling your way around your chosen location usually does the trick for most activity participants, especially if organised across lunch or dinner time.
However, we're happy to point you in the direction of further meal options if and when required. This activity could, perhaps, pre-empt a long Spanish-style BBQ or lunch, which we'll be delighted to help with.

In Conclusion

Making new and tasty discoveries as a team. This is a very simple and pleasurable activity and a fantastic way to discover the cuisine of Spain... and the city of Malaga.

The duration for this activity is approximately 2 hours, but can be tailored around your day's other activities, where applicable.
Do contact us for further information and prices.
The tapas route works well with other city activities, for example - Treasure Hunt, Tactical Games In The City, Interactive Flamenco Show and many more.
